Privacy Policy

Who we are

AeternaOS, Inc. (“AeternaOS”, “we”, “us”) operates this site and its product portfolio, including HookGrade. Contact: hello@aeternaos.com.

What we collect

For HookGrade specifically:

• Email address — when you sign up. Used for authentication via magic links and product-related transactional email only.
• Thumbnail images you upload — sent to Anthropic's Claude API for scoring. Images are processed in-memory and are NOT stored on our servers after analysis.
• Usage events — timestamp + variant count + plan-at-time of each analysis. Used for rate-limiting (free tier) and product analytics.
• Stripe customer ID — if you subscribe. Stored to link your account to your subscription.
• IP address — used for anonymous free-tier rate-limiting when not logged in.

Sub-processors

We use the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Anthropic — Claude Vision API for thumbnail scoring. Anthropic does not train on API data by default.
• Supabase — authentication + account database.
• Stripe — billing for paid plans.
• Upstash — Redis for rate-limit counters.
• Vercel — hosting + edge runtime.
• PostHog — product analytics (pageviews, conversion events; never includes uploaded images).
• Sentry — error tracking.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data to third parties.
• We don't train AI models on your uploaded thumbnails.
• We don't store your thumbnails after analysis.
• We don't share your email with anyone except the sub-processors listed above.

Your rights

Email hello@aeternaos.com to:

• Get a copy of the data we have on you (within 30 days)
• Delete your account and all associated data (within 30 days)
• Correct any data we have
• Object to processing

If you're in the EU/UK, you have additional rights under GDPR. If you're in California, you have additional rights under CCPA.

Changes to this policy

When we update this policy, we'll change the “last updated” date above and email registered users if the change is material.
